CHAMPAGNE L'HOSTE PERE et FILS
Champagne L'HOSTE Père et Fils is located in the heart of Champagne country at Bassuet. It is a family business, working 15 hectares of vineyards. 90% of the vines are of the Chardonnay variety, 10% are Pinot Noir.
Established in 1970 by John and Suzanne l'Hoste, the business was handed down to their sons Pascal and Dominique, who invest all their passion and determination in the vineyard.
The vineyards of Champagne L'HOSTE are planted on calcareous soil, ideal for Chardonnay wines. A key factor in producing a great Champagne is the age of the vineyard. Our plots consists of 6 hectares of vines aged 30 to 40 years, 6 hectares aged between 20 and 30 years, and 3 hectares of young vines aged less than 10 years. The south-southeast, south-southwest exposure of our plots allows our grapes to bask in sunshine for optimal ripening.
For the end-of-the-year celebrations, come and discover our new cuvée. White of extra-brut white, coming only from the locality Les Loges, this cuvée will make you discover the purest expression of the chardonnays of our house.
Established in 1970 by John and Suzanne l'Hoste, the business was handed down to their sons Pascal and Dominique, who invest all their passion and determination in the vineyard. By bringing care, attention and modernity, by the constant desire to distinguish themselves with their knowledge and desire for perfection, by always working with a respect for nature in the service of both vine and wine, they continue to develop this wonderful nectar we call champagne. They will be delighted to help you discover and enjoy it.
